Minecraft Save the Amazon

I was responsible for developing and supervising the press strategy and partnerships with artists and influencers for the launch of the Save Amazônia map for Minecraft, produced by Greenpeace Brazil in partnership with Ninja Blocks.

Notable collaborations include working with renowned Brazilian YouTuber and influencer Felipe Neto, who portrayed the activist José, and communicator Luana Vieira, representing the Tumbira community located in the Alto Rio Negro Sustainable Development Reserve, in Amazonas, providing the voice for the character Dona Moça. The launch featured a gameplay session with Felipe Neto, reaching 1 million views.

In the English version, the protagonists are portrayed by actor Moritz Jahn from the series Dark and Brazilian actress Amanda de Godoi.

The map invites players to take on the role of Greenpeace activists, invited by an Amazonian community to assist them in addressing various environmental issues. Through missions such as combating forest fires and rescuing captive animals, players explore the local biodiversity, the forest, and the main threats faced in the biome. Learn more here.
